Heidi es una pequeña niña de 5 años, Sin padre y madre, Vive con su abuelo en las montañas Suiza de Alm. Heidi conoce a un nuevo amigo Pedro que tiene una cabra, Ella encantada de su nueva vida, Un día su tía toma una decisión de llevarla a Frankfurt con una familia rica, Heidi tendrá que adaptarse a su nueva vida lejos de su seres queridos.
